A Welcome From the Artseed Youth

Welcome to the Artseed youth council's blog.

First of all, what is Artseed?  To answer that, it is a non-profit organization having to do with the arts-- arts such as film, music, visual, et cetera.  It reaches out to children from about six years old to anyone beyond who are interested in learning about these arts, and it is fun for almost all those who have gotten involved.

Some things Artseed does is a summer intensive, which is a summer camp that lasts for about a week, and it is full of art and interesting activities for all ages.  It does the Art-a-Thon, which is a day where any person can come to the Presidio and make art for hours.  There is also an Artseed gallery at Hunter's Point that shows twice a year in the spring and fall.

Now what is the youth council?  Basically, it is like the Artseed adult council that runs the organization, but consists of mainly teenagers who are willing to reach out into the community through art and also give ideas of what things could happen to make Artseed better.

We are the Artseed youth council, and this is our blog of art, ideas, and dates for events.
